XL Bench by Dom Hans Van Der Laan

Big rare Dutch church bank designed by Dom Hans Van Der Laan and executed by Jan De Jong. This bench was made for the Saint-Willibrordus Church (Sint-Willibrorduskerk) in Almelo in 1964. In an orignal photo you see the orignal benches (like this one) in the church. 
 
Dom Hans Van Der Laan was one of the top designers of the Netherlands. 
 
The church was dismantled in 2005 and this is probably one of the last benches that has survived. 
 
The bench has dark green lacquer finish, the bench is in good condition and has the "normal" signs of age and usage.
