Rare Pierre Chapo R06B sideboard

What an exceptional piece. 
This sideboard by top designer Pierre chapo is from 1962. The sideboard is a very rare piece. This sideboard was first shown to the world in 1962 at the "Salon des arts ménagers" in Paris. The sideboard is signed at the back. It comes with a copy of the original invoice and we still have the original "label". The sideboard is in exceptionally good condition. There is only a small spot at the top. 
 
You used to see the furniture often combined with furniture by Perriand. Pierre Chapo was therefore a top French desginer with a focus on wood. He is known for his furniture in full oak, elm and teak. 
 
Pierre chapo's pieces are becoming more and more sought after and because of this the value will only increase in the future.
