Gianfranco Frattini "849" lounge chair

Rare lounge chair by 1 of Italy's most famous designers Gianfranco Frattini. Frattini designed this chair in the 1950s for well-known manufacturer Cassina. The chair is reupholstered in a high quality ecru boucle. The rare thing about this chair is that the original ottoman is also included. You see this very rarely. The chair is in very good condition, as well as the walnut frame. 
 
Frattini's pieces are becoming rarer and rarer, this type of chair won the prestigious prize "'Compasso d'Oro" in 1956
