This 1962 rocking chair, produced by Poltronova, features sleek birch plywood with a glossy black finish for a modern aesthetic.
Its standout feature is the beautifully aged original leather seat, which has developed a unique patina over time. Designed by a young Gae Aulenti, this piece represents one of her earliest achievements in furniture design.
Poltronova, a respected Tuscan manufacturer, created the chair under the artistic guidance of Ettore Sottsass.
