Desk by Jules Wabbes for Mobilier Universel

A desk by 1 of Belgium's best-known and most important deisgners, Jules Wabbes. He designed this desk in the late 60s for Mobilier Universel.
 
Jules Wabbes designed several pieces of furniture for this company. Wabbes' pieces are sought after internationally and are becoming rarer and rarer. This is a version with light wood. Each slide is marked with the famous Wabbes logo and inside of the top slide is the name plate. It has a beige formica plate in good condition.
